Flex Starter

Hi,

I play in a 12 team, 1/2 pt ppr league. Given the Miami/TB game is pushed back, who should I start in the flex slot? Randall Cobb vs a tough Seattle D, Tyrell Williams with that groin injury, John Brown (Fitz is my WR2 this week), or Tevin Coleman against the Bears?

Also, Ebron is my TE but I picked up Fleener to stream this week given how good Cards are against the TE. Going forward is Ebron the best move for me? Raw talent but always injured - would be nice if Fleener could become more of the Jimmy Graham role I assume they hoped he would be.

Thanks a lot

Adrian

Tyrell Williams should be close to 100% for this matchup and looks like the best option. I really like Williams' prospects this season and, even on the road against Denver to open the season, he looks like the safer play over Cobb, Brown and Coleman - it'll be hard to trust their workload.
You're right, tough matchup for Ebron (we have him ranked 21st among TE's this week) and every season seems like a "make or break" season for him. I have higher hopes for Fleener this week and going forward. If you have the roster space for both Ebron and Fleener, it might not be a bad call to take a "wait and see" approach with both and see if either guy can play up to his potential. Fleener is just as frustrating overall, but this is only his 2nd year in the Saints offense so don't lose hope just yet.
Good luck!

Thanks a lot for this - glad to hear Tyrell is close to fully healthy. I think his upside is huge, looking forward to seeing what he can do this year.

Great point on this being his second year with that offense. I think he's got the talent to really add a lot to NO's passing game.

Appreciate the help and thought process!
